Inserting and replacing the battery
Opening the battery compartment: Turn the cover to the right with gentle pressure. Please note that the cover can only be turned to the right by a maximum of one centimetre. The cover can then be removed.
Remove the protective film from the battery compartment or replace the battery.
Insert the battery, replace the cover on the battery compartment and turn the cover to the left with gentle pressure to close it.
Connect your Beam
Download the app and create an account.
Add your plant in the app. To do this, simply click on the green menu button and select "Add plant". Alternatively, you can add your plant via a library search or via the "My Garden" view by clicking on the plus sign.
Open a plant profile and click on new device.
Select "Beam Gen 1".
Then simply follow the instructions in the app.
Tip: If you are having trouble connecting your Beam, press the button on the Beam (flashing green).
Status light:
Green (flashing): Pairing mode
Blue (steady): Firmware update
Red (flashing): Battery almost empty
Status messages in the app:
Recent data: The sensor has recently collected data and is currently providing the most accurate information.
Outdated data: The sensor data is no longer current. The last measurement was taken too long ago, and the information may no longer be reliable.
Analysing: The sensor actively collects data and will provide a complete analysis after 24 hours.
Low battery: The sensor's battery is low. Please replace it to ensure functionality.
