FYTA devices are protected by a theft prevention system. A sensor or hub that is already set up in one account cannot simply be added to another. In this case, the app will display a message indicating that the device is already in use.
There are two possible reasons for this:
You accidentally created a second account. Try logging in with your original account instead. Your device should already be set up there.
You purchased the device second-hand. In this case, the previous owner needs to remove it from their account first. They can do this in the app under My Devices by tapping the device and selecting the option to remove it. Once that's done, you can add it to your own account.
If you're no longer able to reach the previous owner, please contact our support team with proof of ownership (e.g. a receipt or screenshot of the transaction) and we'll help you get the device unlocked.
