What features can I find in the Plant Profile?

In the Plant Profile you can get to know your plant even more. Here you can see the current status of your plant, all measurements in detail, and access comprehensive plant knowledge – all in one place.

1 – Back to Garden View

Tap the arrow in the top left to return to the garden view.

2 – Plant Image

Here you'll see the photo of your plant. Tap the image to enlarge it.

3 – Status / Info Toggle

Use this toggle to switch between two views:

  • Status: Shows the current condition of all parameters and the connected devices.

  • Info: Shows the plant profile with knowledge content about your plant.

4 – Diagnosis

Use this button to run a disease diagnosis by taking a photo. Photograph your plant and receive possible causes for the visible symptoms.

5 – Live Mode

In Live Mode you can see the current sensor readings in real time.

6 – Parameter List

All parameters are listed here with their respective symbols: Water, Temperature, Light, Nutrients and Humidity.

7 – Status Display

Each parameter shows its current status:

  • Green: All good.

  • Orange: Act soon – for example "Water soon" or "Info missing" for nutrients, when we still need information about your fertilising activity.

  • Red: Act immediately – there is an urgent problem.

8 – Detail View / Graphs

Tap the arrow on a status card to open the detail view for that parameter. Here you'll find graphs showing the historical trend of the measurement data.

9 – No Sensor Connected

If a parameter card is marked with a +, no suitable sensor is connected for that parameter. If the plant has no sensor at all, all parameters will be marked with a +.

Tap the + to go to a comparison page showing the benefits of using a sensor in the FYTA App – with the option to go directly to the FYTA Shop.

10 – Connected Devices

Here you'll see all devices currently linked to this plant. Tap a device card to open a menu with further options:

  • Manual: Link to the manual for the connected device.

  • Find sensor: The sensor briefly lights up in colour so you can identify it among other sensors.

  • Relocate sensor: Link the sensor directly to a different plant without having to delete and re-pair it.

  • Delete sensor: Permanently remove the sensor from the app.

11 – Timestamp

Below the device images you can see when data was last transmitted – or whether the data is outdated.

12 – Add a New Device

Tap the + next to the device cards to connect another device to this plant – for example a Sphere to measure humidity and light.

13 – Plant Settings

Here you can adjust all settings related to your plant:

  • Change plant image and name

  • Change garden assignment

  • Enter substrate type

  • Run a soil pH test

  • Enter pot height

  • Specify soil rod length

  • Perform sensor calibration

  • Mute care tips for individual parameters

14 – Info Toggle

Here the toggle is set to Info mode – you are now viewing the knowledge content for your plant instead of the parameter status.

15 – Latin Name

This shows the scientific name of the plant.

16 – Common Names

Here you'll find the common names of the plant.

17 – Jump Links

Use these categories to jump directly to a specific section of the plant profile – for example repotting tips, fertilising advice, propagation or diseases.

18 – Care Difficulty

This shows how demanding the care for this plant is: Easy, Medium or Hard.
