What features can I find in the Library?

The Library gives you access to our full plant knowledge base. You can look up thousands of plant species or identify plant diseases – by searching, browsing, or taking a photo directly.

1 – Plants or Diseases

Use the toggle at the top to switch between the plant library and the disease library.

2 – Search

Type a search term to look up a specific plant or disease. The search works in real time – results update instantly as you type.

3 – Photo Identification

Instead of typing a search term, you can take a photo. In the plant library, this allows you to identify an unknown plant. In the disease library, you can photograph an affected plant to identify the disease.

4 – Image

Here you'll see an image of the plant or disease. If multiple images are available, you can scroll sideways through the gallery.

5 – Name

For plants, this shows the Latin plant name. For diseases, this shows the name of the disease.

6 – Common Name / Category

For plants, this shows the common name of the plant. For diseases, this shows the category the disease belongs to – for example fungi, bacteria, viruses or insects.

7 – View Profile

Tap the arrow to open the full plant or disease profile.
