What features can I find in the Device View?

The Device View gives you an overview of all your FYTA sensors and hubs. You can see at a glance which devices are working properly, which need attention, and when data was last transmitted.

1 – Add a Device

Tap the + in the top right to connect a new device at any time.

2 – Devices Online

The green checkmark shows the number of devices that are currently online and sending data reliably – all good.

3 – Devices with an Issue

The exclamation mark shows the number of devices that currently have a problem – for example a low battery, outdated data, or a hub that is offline.

4 – Learning Devices

The hourglass shows the number of sensors currently in "Learning" status – meaning they were connected less than 24 hours ago and are still collecting data.

5 – Filter

Use the filter to sort and narrow down your device list:

  • Alphabetical: Sort device names from A–Z or Z–A.

  • By time: Sort by last data transfer – oldest or newest first.

  • Status: Show only devices with a specific status.

  • Device type: Filter by Beam, Mini, Sphere, Terra or Hub.

6 – Device Image

Here you'll see the image of the respective sensor or hub.

7 – Device Name

This shows the name of the device – either the name assigned by the app or a name you have chosen yourself.

8 – Linked Plants

Here you'll see small circles with the images of the plants being monitored by this sensor – or in the case of a hub, the plants it is collecting data for.

9 – Device Status

This shows the current status of the device:

  • Online: All good – the device is connected and sending data.

  • Learning: The sensor was recently connected – the first full analysis is still pending.

  • Low battery: The battery needs to be replaced.

  • Outdated data: The sensor has no active connection to the hub. If no hub is available, data must be collected manually: open the app, move close to the sensor and wait.

  • Offline: The hub or Terra has no connection. Check the device's Wi-Fi connection.

10 – Timestamp

Here you can see when data was last transmitted:

  • For sensors: The time of the last data transfer.

  • For the hub: The time of the last sync, during which data was collected from sensors within range.
